In 2015 it was estimated that there was 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean, and that number will only have risen in the proceeding 2 years. Claire Potter Design Studio's have found a use of this waste, whilst also highlighting this growing environmental issue, and promoting sustainable, circular economy solutions for interior architecture and product based projects.

For CDW2017, the studio will be launching a new collection of lighting and products at Platform, completely transformed from a variety of waste marine plastics recovered from Brighton beach during their volunteer work as Regional Reps for UK environmental charity and campaign group, Surfers Against Sewage.
