A co-work space is a shared working environment where people work, network, share ideas and collaborate on projects. Freelancers, start-ups and multinational employees alike are regular users of these spaces, with many workers rejecting typical working conditions for more comfort, flexibility and a different working experience. They are ideal for people who have to travel frequently, new companies who are not ready to rent (or buy!) a permanent office, or for anyone interested in finding creative and contemporary place to work from.

How a co-working space is designed and furnished is fundamental, as it is these aspects which create the conditions which make co-work environments attractive in the first place. In today’s blog we will look at some key elements to consider when designing a successful co-work space.

Posted by Richard Ferris on Apr 28, 2017 11:30:00 AM

Understanding how your company culture is your brand

Posted by Richard Ferris on Apr 12, 2017 12:45:00 PM

Earlier this year we saw how many organisations are unaware of how to instigate effective workplace benefit & amenity schemes. A lack of understanding when it comes to aligning perks with company values means that facilities at best go unused, and at worst have a negative effect on employee productivity and wellbeing. This isn’t always the case, and many companies successfully create a perk scheme which reflects and reinforces the company culture.

Today we look at some success stories from around the world, showing how a little bit of thought can create an effective amenity strategy which benefits everyone whilst also increasing the attractiveness of working within the company.

How the way you sit can change the way you work

Posted by Richard Ferris on Apr 5, 2017 12:44:32 PM

One of the biggest barriers to productivity in the workplace is a breakdown in communication. Productivity isn’t the only benefit of Face-to-Face time. Getting people talking in real life can increase happiness and creativity, and instil a sense of belonging.
